WhyLib services are meant for personal websites, small businesses, and developers that need a comprehensive solution at a bargain price.

WhyLib is not designed for large busy sites requiring vast resources for mission critical services.

What separates WhyLib from other web hosts?

Mostly the differences are philosophical.

What is DirectAdmin

DirectAdmin is a software used to manage web hosting. It’s widely regarded as a suitable replacement for the very expensive CPanel.

I grudgingly use a couple DirectAdmin instances to make it easy for regular human beings to create a web site.

For clarity my issues with DirectAdmin, as a proprietary software, are philosophical and not technical.

DirectAdmin: Performance Grade

A faster machine powers this instance with pure NVMe Disk drives and Epyc Processors that handle load with ease and plenty of bandwidth. Email is included but delivery to inbox is not guaranteed.

DirectAdmin Storage Grade

A really good storage option for anyone, this is fully featured web hosting, great for nextcloud, image galleries, or having live backups.

Compared to Performance Grade, these packages have higher storage, lower bandwidth, and older Xeon CPUs with NVMe cached HDD. No email is included.

Physically located in Salt Lake City, Utah, all local state and national laws apply, in addition to legal terms inherited from Hostbrr.

What is Hestia Control Panel

HestiaCP is an free and open source alternative to commercially licensed web panels such as DirectAdmin and CPanel. Savings are then passed on to the end user.

This software model makes it possible to offer more resources at a rock bottom price.

It also allows for much greater diversity in terms of server specs, locations, and package allocations.

Each HestiaCP instance must abide by the laws of its jurisdiction and the terms of service of the upstream provider.
